FIJI RED CROSS SOCIETY SHOWCASES HUMANITARIAN COMMITMENT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF THE SOUTH PACIFIC OPEN DAY
Friday 29th September, 2023. Suva, Fiji – Fiji Red Cross Society is proud to have participated in the University of the South Pacific’s highly anticipated Open Day event in Suva. This engagement underscores the organization’s ongoing commitment to education, community engagement, and humanitarian outreach.
The University of the South Pacific’s Open Day is a renowned annual event that brings together students, educators, and the community at large. It serves as an excellent platform for organizations like Fiji Red Cross Society to connect with aspiring individuals, showcase their initiatives, and inspire future leaders.
Fiji Red Cross Society’s presence at the event included a dedicated booth, interactive displays, and informative sessions. Visitors engaged with our team of volunteers and staff members who were on hand to provide insights into our humanitarian work, disaster preparedness and response, and various community programs.

The University of the South Pacific’s Open Day saw visitors from different areas around the country including students from Schools outside of Suva. More than 200 people visited the Fiji Red Cross Society Booth at the Open Day.
