FIJI RED CROSS SOCIETY WELCOMES NEW YOUTH COMMISSION
The Fiji Red Cross Society is delighted to announce its new Youth Commission following a highly successful Youth Forum.
The Forum brought together dedicated Youth officers from 16 branches across the country, who convened at the Pearl Resort in Pacific Harbour for a full 2 days of constructive deliberations on Youth issues and solutions. The event culminated in a successful election, resulting in the appointment of a new Youth Chair and Commission.
The Youth Forum served as an invaluable platform for young leaders within the Fiji Red Cross Society to exchange ideas, discuss pressing challenges facing the Youth, and collectively explore strategies to address them. It was a testament to the commitment and passion of these Youth officers who actively engaged in insightful discussions, harnessing their collective knowledge and experience.
The newly appointed Youth Commission will play a pivotal role in shaping the Fiji Red Cross Society’s initiatives and programs aimed at addressing the needs and aspirations of young people. The Commission will actively advocate for Youth issues, contribute to policy development, and support the implementation of innovative projects that empower and uplift the Youth across the nation.
The Fiji Red Cross Society expresses its gratitude to all the participants of the Youth Forum for their active involvement and contributions.
