Kings & Queens Charity Ball

The Fiji Red Cross Society held its 2019 Kings & Queens Charity Ball once again with high expectations.With the aims to raise funds to be able to maintain community programmes in Fiji, Director General Filipe Nainoca said contributions to the event would strengthen Red Cross role as a humanitarian service provider.
He said it would also maintain the organisation’s capacity to offer community assistance throughout Fiji.
“This charity ball will help us continue the work that we do, ensuring communities are resilient to natural disasters”, said Mr Nainoca.
Former Super Rugby BNZ Crusaders player, Ben Volavola was the chief guest for the night and was also accompanied by other international rugby based players Jale Vatubua, Campese Ma’afu, Josh Matavesi and Sam Matavesi who are currently been named in the 42-member training squad for the Maori All Blacks tests and Pacific Nations Cup.
Fiji Red Cross Society acknowledged all sponsors for their continuous support to assist the Fiji Red Cross team continue their work in assisting the people of Fiji.
