Invitation to Tender for External Audit Services

The Fiji Red Cross Society (FRCS) is seeking expressions of interest from reputable firms to provide external audit services for the financial year ending December 31, 2025.

The audit must comply with International Standards of Auditing and relevant ethical requirements. The selected firm will be responsible for conducting audits following International standards of Auditing, ethical practices and deliver comprehensive reports to ensure compliance and integrity.

Below is the scope of work for the external audit services:

  1. Financial Audit: Review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and provide opinion whether the accompanying financial statements give a true and fair view of the financial position. Verify the completeness and accuracy of financial data. Assess internal controls and risk management processes.

  2. Compliance Audit: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.

  3. Internal Controls: Obtain an understanding of policies, procedures relevant to the audit to design audit procedures that are appropriate in the circumstances.

  4. Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and management responses.

  5. Present audit findings to the management team and guide implementation of recommendations.

  6. Preparation and lodgment of Annual Tax Returns.
